A home is so much more than four walls.

It's where we celebrate milestones, heal after heartbreak, gather with the people we love, and begin new chapters. So why do we expect our homes to stay the same while our lives change? I believe our homes should reflect who we are today while inspiring who we're becoming.

That's the philosophy behind Alchemy Design & Co.

Hi, I'm Jackie.

For years, my career centered around understanding people. With a background in psychology, I've always been fascinated by how our environments influence the way we think, feel, and move through the world.

Over the years, I poured my heart into restoring & transforming my own 100-year-old home—one room, one creative idea, and one meaningful project at a time. But this business wasn't born in a design studio. It was born during one of the biggest transformations of my own life.

There was a time when my home reflected exactly how I felt inside. Rooms sat unfinished. Walls stayed blank. Projects lingered for months because, if I'm honest, I was rebuilding from the inside out.

As I slowly began putting the pieces of my life back together, something unexpected happened. I began transforming my home, too. One project led to another. Blank walls turned into bold choices. Forgotten furniture found new life. The spaces around me slowly began reflecting the person I was becoming instead of the person I had been.

What began as a passion project became something much bigger. I realized I wasn't just creating beautiful spaces. I was creating spaces that helped me feel at home again. And that's when everything clicked. The spaces we live in don't just hold our stories—they help shape them.

My style is collected rather than perfect. I love blending vintage treasures with meaningful pieces, rich colors, layered textures, architectural details, and unexpected elements that tell a story. I don't believe homes should feel like magazine spreads. I believe homes should feel lived in, loved in, and uniquely yours. Because the most meaningful transformations don't always come from buying everything new. Sometimes they begin by seeing what you already have in a whole new way, making a few intentional changes, and creating a space that finally feels aligned with the life you're living today.

My goal is always the same: To create a home that feels like an authentic reflection of the people living there.

I work best with homeowners who are:

  • Starting a new chapter

  • Renovating or remodeling

  • Feeling disconnected from their space

  • Looking for guidance and confidence in their design decisions

  • Ready to fall in love with their home again

When I'm not redesigning spaces, you'll usually find me being a mom, wandering antique shops and my favorite home stores, or convincing myself I definitely need to start another project around the house.

(Spoiler alert: I absolutely will.)

Because I believe the most beautiful homes aren't the ones that impress people.

They're the ones that remind you who you are every time you walk through the door.

And I'd love to help you create yours.
